Primary Objectives of the Position
The successful candidate will have a 3 year commerce qualification with at least 3 years’ post qualification FMCG experience in the field of demand planning. The role requires knowledge and preferably experience in the field of an Unconstrained Demand Plan through the maintenance of a database. An intermediate to advanced information system knowledge is essential as there is a requirement to integrate various data sources into the demand forecasting system. Experience engaging multiple stakeholders will be advantageous as there is a requirement for the incumbent to liaise with key stakeholders. The key outputs for the role will be to manage production requirements & schedules in close co-operation with sales, distribution, and material supply functions in order to co-ordinate production output with customer’s orders and to optimise utilisation of facilities & labour. The successful incumbent will also provide input into the Demand Review in relation to: the sales activity calendar, KPI performance and Actual Sales vs Budget. This role will be based in Tygervalley, Western Cape and will report to the Manager S&OP (Demand Manager).
Knowledge of Operations, Demand Forecast; Replenishment and Production planning in a FMCG environment
